About your educators, Laura & Audrey

Meet Laura:

Hi Beautiful, I´m Laura. I am a birth coach and educator, mom, birth keeper and a lover of all things birth and the female body.

I was a strong independent business women who always wanted to be a mom but deep down I was terrified of giving birth. So much so that I convinced myself I didn’t need to give birth and I’d adopt instead. For 10 years I said it was selfish of me to give birth when so many kids didn’t have families. I determined it didn’t matter if I gave birth to my own babies.

When the pandemic hit, I realized adoption was no longer an option. This led me to resent my husband and say things like, «I have to give birth to our children, so you owe me this,» and «I have to suffer through childbirth, so suck it up.» I was angry that as a woman, I had to endure childbirth to have the children I deeply desired.

We then moved to the country side of Peru and I saw so many happy and free children running barefoot and wild.  I knew I wanted to start a family soon and raise my children here.  I began to see that there was no way I’d birth in a hospital with the current protocols. I’d have to wear a mask and birth alone without my husband and I wasn’t ok with that. Midwifery support was out of the question because the closest one was 20 hours away. I began to have this strong intuition that I would go through it alone, with just my husband, Luis, by my side.

I decided to start learning everything I could about birth. I began finding podcasts, resources, and people to follow who shared the wonders, joys, power, and magic of birth.  I learned how incredible the women’s body is and how it is designed in every way to grow, birth and nourish new life. I was shocked to learn how transformative and beautiful birth actually is. I discovered what is possible and that birth can heal a woman, giving her euphoria like nothing else. I learned that the right environment is key in experiencing all of the above.

I became obsessed and started taking courses and programs to become a traditional midwife. My goal was to be part of the movement that changes the narrative about birth, helping women discover the truth and power of birth and their bodies.

For the past 3 years, I’ve dedicated my life to informing, coaching, teaching, and educating women. My focus has been on helping them understand how their bodies work, releasing their fears about birth, educating them on the true process of birth, their rights, and addressing the abuses within the medical system to reveal how birth is meant to be experienced.  I created an ebook all about how powerful and magical the female body is. I journeyed through the RBK school and in April 2023 I free birthed my first baby, a daughter, into my own hands in the presence of only my husband and 2 dogs. Birth broke me wide open and completely transformed my life. Giving birth was hard and also fun. It gave me confidence and love for myself and my body like I’d never had before.  I am still learning new lessons from my birth and it has forever changed me in the best way.

Motherhood has been even better than I ever imagined and I’m beyond thriving, most days.

Now, my mission is to embolden women on this journey to discover their own transformation, confidence, power, and euphoria through birth, just as I have. I aim to teach women how to understand their bodies and the birth process. I desire for them to learn to trust their body, baby and birth so that they can experience all pregnancy and birth has to offer them. I want women to find healing joy in birth that is beyond anything they could imagine.

That’s why I’ve created this program with Audrey — to support women through this transformative journey and share all my knowledge with them.

Meet Audrey:

Hey there! I’m Audrey! I’m a mom to four biological children and two adopted children. Before diving into birth work, I was a personal trainer and nutrition coach.

I grew up with a mom who was a doula and lactation consultant, and an older sister who was a medical midwife. Our dinner conversations often revolved around pregnancy and birth, and pregnancy and birth books were scattered around our home.

For the first nine years of our marriage, my husband and I struggled to conceive, despite our best efforts. However, miraculously, after nine years, we did become pregnant (details of which I’ll share within the course). This marked the start of my journey into motherhood.

From there I began my journey to sovereign birth work as well. I already had a foundation in birth from my childhood but tangibly walking through pregnancy and birth was very different.

I started out with midwives who dropped me at 36 weeks because my baby was breech. I ended up going to the hospital to give birth vaginally against everyone’s advice. I wholeheartedly trusted my body and I knew that breech was just a variation of normal. My birth was seen as radical in that Boise hospital and stories of it circulated for long after the birth.

Who could have predicted that a single act of sovereign birthing would cause such a stir in the medical world?

After that experience, I chose to have a home birth for my second baby with medical midwives. While I loved the birth itself, I disliked their presence. Their interference made me question whether I needed them at all. This prompted me to start learning everything I could about birth as I prepared for baby number three.

After fostering many babies and waiting four and a half years, I finally became pregnant again and knew I would choose freebirthing this time.

During this time, I fully immersed myself preparing for my own birth and birthwork. I took courses, read books, and began supporting women on their own birthing journeys.

My first freebirth was beautiful and simple, leaving me feeling more embodied than ever before.

It became clear that birth was my passion and calling. Other women needed to learn what I knew and be encouraged to take full responsibility for their own birthing experiences.

Birth has become my world. My days are filled with birth coaching, virtual birth support, and in-person authentic midwifery work.

I love it like I never knew I could love a chosen career path!

I feel an urgent and pressing need to share this wise woman knowledge in a world that seeks to suppress the true power of womanhood and motherhood.

Creating this course has been so aligning to who I know God has created me to be and how He has created me to serve.

I’m thrilled for you as you begin this journey!!! What awaits you? A healing birth? A birth that shifts everything radically? A calling to support women in their birthing journeys? I’m here for all of it, ready to support you every step of the way!!!

Recently, I experienced my second freebirth with my fourth biological baby. The birth was incredible, powerful, and yes, painful—but it was everything I needed it to be.

Once again, my motherhood journey has been elevated, and I rise to meet it! With six children, I feel abundant and fulfilled, blessed by the gift of each one.

I can’t wait to meet you and walk through a season of your maiden, pregnancy or motherhood journey with you!
